Introduction:
Large companies often use sporting events for the purpose promoting their products. According to some, this is a retrograde step and impacts negatively on the nature of sport. In my view, such promotion turns what should be a spectacle of good sportsmanship and athletic ability into nothing more than a gigantic corporate advertisement focused purely on profit.
